Public Speaking is An Unusual Skill.

You are standing in front of a room full of people, but the real challenge is not confidence.
It is responsibility.

Responsibility for ideas.
For clarity.
For the energy you bring into the room.
For whether people leave inspired, indifferent, or more thoughtful than before.

Recently I had the opportunity to speak at Congressman Kevin Kiley’s Congressional Art Competition about creativity, technology, and the future of artistic thinking.

As someone working in AAA game development as an external production, I increasingly believe that communication itself is becoming a strategic skill.

The ability to articulate vision, meaning, and direction may become just as important as technical execution.

Thank you to everyone who organized the event - and especially to the young artists brave enough to share their work publicly.

Creating something is vulnerable.
Presenting ideas publicly is vulnerable too.
Both matter.
